Refining

Halgo Power implemented a turn-key solution for this prominent oil and gas company in the Caribbean, providing equipment, auxiliaries, and installation services for five 275,000 lbs/hr – 450 PSIG, 650˚F Superheated Steam package boilers. On-site international work and permitting were included in the project scope.

Petrochemical

Performed turnkey Engineering, Project Management and Installation services for an SCR retrofit on an incinerator/Waste Heat Boiler at a carbon black plant in West Texas. The scope of supply included an ammonia storage and handling system, interconnecting piping, pipe racks, ammonia flow control unit, ductwork, ladders and platforms. Construction scope included civil, mechanical, E&I and insulation.

Pulp and Paper

Halgo Power, Inc. provided a Rentech Boiler Systems elevated drum 350,000 lbs/hr Saturated Package Boiler for a pulp & paper mill in Kentucky. Auxiliaries include a Robinson Arrangement 7 FD Fan, Zeeco, Inc. burners, ECO, Inc. economizer, and a 100-foot economizer supported stack from Warren Environment. HPI provided turnkey installation services including mechanical, E&I start-up and commissioning.

Natural Gas Processing

HPI provided (2) x 150,000 lb/hr, 650 PSIG Saturated Steam package boilers and auxiliaries at this Pasadena, TX natural gas processing facility. Included in the equipment scope of supply were package boilers, burners, FD fans, SCRs, economizers, stacks, ductwork, ladders & platforms. Also provided was a 300,000 lb/hr water treatment train, including a water softener, deaerator, boiler feedwater pumps and piping.

Refining

Fulfilled equipment needs for a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) retrofit on a 333 MMBTU/HR hydrogen reformer at a major refiner's U.S. location in Southern CA. Included in the project scope is a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, Ammonia Flow Control Unit, Ammonia Injection Grid, NOx catalyst, SCR reactor house and ductwork design. The unit successfully guaranteed and achieved 2 PPM NOx emissions and 5 PPM ammonia slip.

Project Spotlight

Petrochemical

Halgo Power, Inc. provided boiler assembly services to Rentech Boiler Systems for a major U.S. EPC in Baytown, TX. The project scope consisted of assembling two 2) x 430,000 lbs/hr – 735 PSIG, 661°F Superheated Steam Modularized Boilers for a petrochemical plant in Channelview, TX. Each boiler included boiler modules, burners with windboxes, sootblowers, piping spools, ladders and platforms that were shipped to the assembly site separately. Halgo provided services for mechanical assembly, cranes, rigging, pipe fitting, welding, insulation and lagging. The construction group efficiently completed the project in four months, adhering to an aggressive time schedule.
